| Wiese’s Kilimanjaro climbs have been featured in The NY Times, Travel and Leisure and in the May 2005 issue of Men’s Journal, which called the climb one of the 100 greatest adventures. In a 2004 cover story in Esquire, he was identified by the magazine as one of “Ten Tough Bastards”. His first ascent on Kilimanjaro was at the age of 11 with father. This 2008 Expedition will be his twelfth ascent of Kilimanjaro. Wiese has prided himself in leading novice and aspiring trekkers. |
